Permission is not judgment

Full Disk Access lets a utility see more. It does not make the utility wiser. A trustworthy cleaner needs rules that distinguish reproducible cache data from documents, databases, credentials, release archives, and application state.

The product should say why an item appears, how risky the classification is, and what operation will follow. Access should increase coverage, not confidence theatre.

Reversibility is a feature

Permanent deletion turns every classification bug into a disaster. Moving allowed items to Trash preserves a human recovery path and keeps the application honest about what it knows.

The correct answer is sometimes review

An orphaned application folder, Docker volume, Xcode archive, or unfamiliar download may be large without being expendable. Conservative software should be willing to stop at a plan and let the user remain the final authority.
